From Oxford to London, sail on the most famous English river, the Thames. On the program, Oxford University, Windsor Castle, LegoLand and of course the capital, London. You can not sail in London, your cruise stops at the gates of the city, about 8 km from the historic center.
The locks are automatic and manned by lock keepers, they are free and open from 9h to 17h (April to October), from 9h to 18h (May, June and September), from 9h to 18h30 (July and August). They are closed between 13h and 14h.
Sailing in central London beyond Teddington Lock is prohibited, but the center is easily accessible by train.
Moorings are accessible and mostly free.
Heathrow Airport is a few miles from the Chertsey base.
One-way is possible between Benson and Chertsey.
Both bases, Benson and Chertsey, have closed parking.
