Mecklenburg is one of the most beautiful regions in Germany for Canal boat holidays. During your cruise you will cross many lakes, including Lake Müritz between Jabel and Wolfsbruch, one of the most beautiful in Germany. At the same time close to the nature with the crossing of numerous wetlands with exceptional fauna and rich in term of architecture and history, with the presence of numerous castles on the edges of the lakes.

The locks are free and fully automatic. They are open every day from 8h to 20h (May to September) and from 9h to 17h (April and October). They are open on public holidays
Navigation in this area is without a license. South of Liebenwalde, a river permit is imperative. From Lübz, a supplement of 50 € will be asked, to be paid on the spot.
Mooring along the canals is not allowed at night. You must anchor in a lake or moor at your own expense in a harbor.
Berlin Airport is the nearest. There is a train station in Furstenberg.
One-way trips are possible between Jabel and Wolfsbruch.
From Lübz, a supplement of 50 € will be asked, to be paid on the spot (instruction of 3h). All bases have closed pay parking.
