With your river boat, you will pass through about twenty eclectic or manual locks. An excellent opportunity to meet new people, as the lock keepers are in charge of operating the lock gates. We suggest you start your cruise on the Sarthe from Sablé-Sur-Sarthe. Whether you choose a one-way or a round-trip cruise, you will cruise amidst beautiful scenery, charming villages, and Renaissance castles. Before setting off on your cruise, you will receive a short one-hour training session. This training includes an introduction to the rules of river navigation, a demonstration of how to use the boat's commands, and a boat steering lesson.
