SELF DRIVE RIVER BOAT RENTALS FROM Luzech
This small typical town of the Lot Valley is the starting point of the navigable part of the Lot: Luzech in the west and Larnagol in the east, about 74 km of navigation.
The locks are manual but they are easy to operate.
If the Lot is in spate, we may have to transfer your cruise to another departure base. We do not recommend the Lot for a first boating holiday.
It is important you only moor in the designated places.

- Carrefour Market (2 km from the base)
- Proxi Supermarket (5 km from the base)
- When the flow of the river is too great (when it exceeds 170 m3 / s), the public authorities may decide to prohibit navigation on certain sectors of the route.
- The level of the waters of the Lot is regulated by a dam that makes navigation random at certain times of the year, especially in case of heavy rainfall.
- If it is impossible to navigate, we reserve the right to move your departure to another base in France.
- The locks are manual: you are the ones who maneuver them; which allows you greater freedom of navigation, from sunrise to sunset
- These cruises are a little more "sporty", however they are not recommended for a first navigation, nor for people having difficulty to move or with young children.
- After departure, there is still 1h5 to go to the first lock. If the customer arrives too late, the departure will be the next day
