SELF DRIVE RIVER BOAT RENTALS FROM Cahors


 

A city to discover absolutely !! Lively, picturesque, before leaving for your cruise on the Lot, take the time to discover Cahors. In a week, from Cahors, you can do the whole of the navigable Lot, from Luzech to Larnagol. It is therefore not recommended to rent for more than a week.

The locks are manual but they are easy to operate.

If the Lot is in spate, we may have to transfer your cruise to another departure base. We do not recommend the Lot for a first boating holiday.

It is important you only moor in the designated places.

 

  • Road: from the north A20 - D820 towards Chemin de Saint-Mary in Cahors; from the east: A62 - E72 towards D953 to Saint-Loup - D653 and D27 towards Chemin de Saint-Mary to Cahors; from the South: A62 - Follow A62 / E72 / E9 and A20 / L'Occitane towards D800E to Fontanes - Exit 58 - Continue on D800E. Take D820, D620 and Chemin de la Chartreuse towards Stéphane Hessel bridge
  • Train: Montauban station (65km), Cahors station (1km)
  • Plane: Toulouse Blagnac (112km), Brive Valley of the Dordogne (87km)

 

 

  • 3 large areas 1 km, bakery 500 meters, pharmacy 300 meters

 

 

  • The river, all the locks are manual except one which is electric (that of Coty in Cahors), navigation is possible from sunrise to sunset, the locks are always open even on holidays.
