SELF DRIVE RIVER BOAT RENTALS FROM Port Cassafières
At 1.5 km from the beaches, the Port Cassafières base is as close to the Mediterranean as possible. This base is the starting point for one-way cruises on the Canal du Midi to Narbonne, Homps or Castelnaudary or on the Camargue to Saint-Gilles or Beaucaire.
The one-way or the navigation towards the Carmargue while crossing the Etang de Thau can be canceled or interrupted if the climatic conditions, in particular the wind, do not allow to pass the Etang de Thau. - Portiragnes Village: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning
- Portiragnes Plage: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday morning
- In Béziers: Friday morning
- An average of 20 € per night and boat can be requested on the Canal du Midi. On the Etang de Thau, the rates are higher and depend on the size of the boats and the season. In most cases this tax includes water. Rates may change.
