Rent a licence-free boat to navigate on the Baïse

The Baïse is a river caraterized by its wild and sinuous banks. Your cruise will be punctuated by visits of historical villages, all along the river. Follow the track of the King Henri IV and the Three Musketeers. This cruise is ideal for beginners, the locks are automatic with no lock-keepers. You just have to press a button. There is nothing difficult on the Baïse, the manoeuvres are pretty easy. You can start your cruise from: Buzet-sur-Baïse or Valence-sur-Baïse. Before boarding, you will receive a one hour training to get used to the boat and its streering.

The Baïse

Buzet-Sur-Baïse

This small city is the ideal starting point to visit the Canal de Garonne or the Baïse which mouthpiece is only few meters away from the departing base. This town is mainly known for its wine, whose vinyards are opened for visits. Make a stop at the castle, beautiful historical monument. Looted by the English in the 13th century, the castle of Buzet was a Catholic stronghold during the Wars of Religion.
