Boating Holidays remains a type of holiday far away from mass tourism and therefore the risk of exposure to the coronavirus is very low.
However, in view of the concerns, mainly related to travel in the boating area, we wished to clarify certain points. You will find below the answers to the main questions you may have.
For all new bookings registered since 15th September 2020 and whose cancellation is justified for reasons of force majeure related to COVID 19
The following are considered as "force majeure
: The base closure (in case CrisBoat or its partner cannot execute the contract) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs prohibits from going to your destination area.The border is closed (your country or country of destination). You are not able to reach the base because the authorities of your country force you to confinementYou are not able to reach the base because the authorities of your country impose you a zone of limited travel (ex : 100 km around the place of residence)You are placed in quarantine at your destination (country where your cruise takes place) by the authorities or by the Ministry of Foreign AffairsYou are placed in quarantine on your return (resident country) by the authorities or by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Then we will offer you the following solutions: If your cruise starts in less than 10 weeks: either a postponement of the cruise or a credit note of the sums already paid (credit note valid for 18 months), or a refund of the sums paid. This refund will be made within 14 days of the request for cancellation and reimbursement. The request must be made in writing.If your cruise starts in more than 10 weeks : we invite you to monitor the evolution of the situation. The postponement of the cruise will be granted if the context still prevents you from reaching your cruise location 10 weeks before your departure.
Outside these cases, the GTC (general terms and conditions of hire) will apply.
