    Starting from Port-sur-Saône, Pontailler or Louhans, cruise on a natural river with very few locks.     The canal du centre

    Starting from Digoin, you will cross the aqueduct in order to cruise on the Canal du Centre, which is also known as the Canal du Charollais. After stopping off at Paray le Monial to visit the old town and its Roman church, moor at Palinges where the castle is definitely worth a visit. 

    Built in 973, this Romanesque Basilica, one of the most beautiful religious building of Paray Le Monial attracts many tourists.
